▪Provided direct oversight, training, and development of 100+ sailors to be mission ready. ▪Preserved and maintained an 845 foot ship, four unrep rigs, two small boats, anchoring equipment, rigging gear, damage control equipment, lifesaving gear, mooring and towing equipment. ▪Maintained the safety of all well deck operations, small boat operations, replenishment at sea and anchoring/mooring of the ship. ▪Performed and executed all levels of rate, safety, and damage control training. ▪Built and maintained professional relationships with sailors to discuss future career decisions and advocate for additional opportunities for education, training, promotion, and award recognition.

Decommissioned

▪Developed and provided effective leadership and physical fitness training for 30 division sailors and 30 department sailors. ▪Organized and implemented the training pipelines, policies, and procedures to ensure proper mission readiness and program compliance.▪Spearheaded the preservation and maintenance of a 450 foot ship, six unrep rigs, two small boats, anchoring equipment, rigging gear, damage control equipment, lifesaving gear, mooring and towing equipment, and a flight deck for the SH-60B. ▪Supervised and managed the damage control training team and the seamanship training team for the ship which included providing comprehensive training to 190+ sailors on firefighting, flooding, and combatting damages.▪Trusted to serve as an Anti-Terrorist Tactical Watch Officer and defended the ship in foreign ports in collaboration with 10 armed watch standers with weapons release authority. ▪Performed safety duties for all anchoring, mooring, UNREP, flight deck, small boat operations, and towing. ▪Executed safe navigation of the ship as a primary Officer of the Decks Underway and resumed responsibility for all flight deck operations to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

Decommissioned

▪Maintained four 40 foot sea arc patrol boats and four 15 ton freightliner trucks and trailers by diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment and recommending replacements in consultation with management and suppliers.▪Coordinated and facilitated the training and development of 70 sailors through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training of how to drive patrol boats, rules of engagement, maintenance, and truck driving to successful execute overseas missions. ▪Planned, staged, and executed missions as a direct representative for the Commanding Officer on a daily basis.

Decommissioned

▪Trained, directed, and supervised 30 division sailors and 30 department sailors in the ship’s maintenance duties, program compliance, assessments, and mission readiness. ▪Operated and maintained equipment of a 450 foot ship, six unrep rigs, two small boats, anchoring equipment, rigging gear, damage control equipment, lifesaving gear, mooring and towing equipment, and a flight deck for the SH-60B. ▪Performed security watches while in port and underway as one of the Commanding Officer’s Officer of the Decks Underway to ensure ship safety. ▪Served as a member of damage control, emergency, and security alert teams for the ship and trained 190+ sailors on firefighting, flooding, and combatting damages performed to the ship.
