Technical Director of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC). Responsibilities include technical leadership and integration of vision, strategy, and implementation across the AFSC technical workforce of more than 4,500 science and engineering professionals. Providing technical integration and technical insertion for the mission at three locations (Robins Air Force Base, Georgia; Hill Air Force Base, Utah; and Tinker AFB, Oklahoma), for depot maintenance, repair, test, overhaul, and supply chain management.

Chief Engineer of Lifecycle Acquisitions responsible for technical review of all AF Acquisition Category I (ACAT I) annual $2.6 billion science and technology programs. Led a team that provided technical guidance, advocacy, and policy for the Air Forces for compliance with policy and best practices in program protection, systems engineering, cyber security, technology maturity assessments, digital engineering, and human factors integration.

Championed and implemented a streamlined modification funding process for aircraft depot overhaul

Chief Engineer of the Department of Defense’s (DOD’s) premiere airborne surveillance, command, control, and communications aircraft for tactical and strategic air defense. Chief technical and systems engineering manager of E-3’s $6B portfolio of US and International programs. Directed over 140 contractor, military, and civilian multidisciplinary professional engineering and equipment specialist for all phases of lifecycle systems engineering. Chaired all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) E-3 fleet configuration control boards.

Served as the functional manager and advocate for Scientist & Engineering (S&E) career fields for 1200 Oklahoma City Air Logistic Complex (OC-ALC) engineers. Responsibilities included professional and technical development, recruiting, retention, career progression, and functional education/training for S&E employees across the center.

Chief Engineer with primary responsibility for AMXG technical direction and oversight of depot repair, modification, and overhaul of the C/KC-135, E-3 (AWACS), B-1B, B-52, C-130J, and Navy E-6 aircrafts to maintain fleet air worthiness. Responsibilities included support of the 2800-person team for processes, facilities (10 hangars, + 30 docks) and equipment to ensure the Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E) of Air Force, Navy, Army and Foreign Military weapon systems. Personally managed over 100 employees consisting of engineers, technicians, specialist, supervisors, and support staff.
