• Analyze loan request files for SBA loan eligibility and proper loan structure per the SOP, spread financial statements and identify material credit weaknesses, complete full credit memo for SBA eligible, credit worthy borrowers. Typically complete one 35 page credit memo per week, generating annual loan approval volume in the $25-$30MM range based on average loan size.

• Responsible for the completion of between 150 and 200 bank reviews annually to the SBA, subject to a monthly delivery schedule. The reports analyze 15 loan performance metrics to determine an overall rating of the lending institution’s SBA loan portfolio.• Coordinate approximately 25 on site loan file reviews with team members who will travel to the subject banks for an in depth review of a predetermined loan sample of SBA guaranteed loans issued by the lending institution. Personally participate in approximately 8 to 10 bank reviews as a file review team member annually.

New business development position to expand the bank's commercial banking relationships. During this time over $10 million in new loan opportunities were sourced by identifying new prospective clients. Tasks in addition to prospect identification include loan underwriting and loan documentation.

Portfolio manager for the performing commercial loan portfolio acquired in the FDIC assisted takeover of the former Old Harbor Bank. Responsible for the credit quality and financial analysis of a $100 million commercial loan portfolio. Transitioned the former Old Harbor Bank loan customers into 1st United Bank's loan policies and procedures.
