Responsible for managing the governance and assurance processes in support of Powerlink's Revenue Proposal for the 2023-27 regulatory period.

Responsible for leading a team of senior professional engineers working as project sponsors in the definition, management and governance of an extensive portfolio of capital and operating projects throughout the state, amounting to annual capital expenditure and operational expenditure of around $300 million.

Leading a team of four senior professional engineers, I am responsible for the development and efficient delivery of a portfolio of projects in excess of $300 million throughout the state.Key accountabilities include:- coach and mentor team members, supporting individuals to solve problems, create readiness for change and build capability- proactively build and maintain effective relationships, working constructively with others to efficiently achieve required business outcomes within agreed timeframes- develop and manage a portfolio of projects to best achieve the organisation's business objectives within the identified resource, outage and budgetary constraints- lead challenging negotiations and facilitate resolution of issues on significant matters that impact on the prioritisation, approval, sequencing or management of the portfolio- ensure projects within the portfolio are efficiently and effectively developed, and appropriate project governance is established and maintained- develop and manage the capital and operational expenditure budgets in relation to projects, and align portfolio with the overall budgetary objectives

Responsible for sponsorship of a significant number of projects across north Queensland:- develop the scope of projects, define the required functionality of the outcome whilst ensuring compliance with asset management policies- prioritise and co-ordinate implementation of projects to optimise program delivery- champion projects through inception to closure, addressing any commercial or technical constraints to successful implementation- submit reports to executive management at key milestones
