I am now retired from undertaking commercial work, however I am still active with several charities based in the UK.I have over twenty years consulting experience in international assignments. My work covered organisation reviews, operation reviews, training and development with government and private sector organisations.I worked on government reform projects for Adam Smith International in Jordan, Afghanistan and Uganda including a period as Team Leader on a Justice Sector Reform Project incorporating the Supreme Court, the Attorney Generals Office and the Ministry of Justice in Afghanistan. I also prepared business plans for the Ministry of Finance, prepared operational plans for a new project's implementation at the Ministry of Agriculture and reviewed the workings of the Legal Aid Board.I have worked for GIC Limited reviewing operations of pilot pharmaceutical distribution projects funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in rural areas in Ghana and Uganda and Tanzania.I conducted a review of a trading operation for DfID in the Pacific and have designed and delivered. in conjunction with local partners, training programmes for the Caribbean Development Bank on development project management in the Caribbean Region.For the European Union I participated in the design, development and delivery of training courses in accessing and using finance from the European Development Fund, delivering courses to government officials in the African Caribbean and Pacific regions over a four year period.Specialties: Organisation review.
