BackgroundAfter my corporate finance master graduation I started my career within Storebrand group in Oslo. I attended their trainee program and did four different roles for two years. During these years I got even more certain about my usp's and skills, which was to take the customer perspective in sales, development and marketing roles. After this experience I have gone about my career with a curious mindset. I have held several different roles within different industries, giving me a vast experience to lean back on. Since I am goal oriented, the common denominator of all roles have been that the target is clear, but the journey there is not. Often a difficult task needing a creative solution to it. Often a task needing resilience. Often a task uncertain if it will succeed. My way to go about a taskFirst, I make sure we are aligned in our view of success and KPI for the task. To have a common view on the goals is key I believe. Thereafter I do and "as is analysis", to get to understand everything around the task, where customer data plays an important role. You need to collect data to make the right business development decisions. Make sure you have the right conditions and people around you and then get to work. Respect people around you and their skills. I have never succeeded with a business development task alone, you have to do it as a team. Break down the steps of the process if you can and celebrate success together. Be close to your colleagues and embrace feedback. Iterate. My leadership profile- Genuinely love leadership and motivating people to deliver at their best level- Get to know your colleagues, what is their drive, what makes them spend their time here?- No micro management, set a stretching goal together, agree on it and be there for coaching along the way- Transparant and open - I'm here for you to guide you, but not to do your work for you- When it's not working, we talk about it. I do not hide. You have to be able to make mistakes and learn from it- Restrospective is important, evaluate together. Did we succeed? What did we learn?- Be responsive, engage in your team, be honest with them, you are in this together
