BCM-ATN obtained the highest score on recruitment and retention among the Adolescent Trial Network site evaluation.I placed BCM-ATN as number one in recruitment, retention, and youth engagement for several months on one of our NIH-funded projects ATN 142.I help coordinate BCM-ATN grant budgeting and distribution for every grant year.I educate HIV positive youth on several social and psychological topics, as well as remind them on the importance of adequate healthcare. Such activities are engaged through Youth Advisory Board meetings, and mentorships activities.I presented current and future projects to the city of Houston PrEP Advisory Board. I also attend every meeting as part of my recruitment for ATN 142.I created partnerships with several PrEP providers and HIV clinics in Houston in order to increase youth engagement.I educated my colleagues and coworkers on the importance of inclusivity. I performed a workshop where we discussed sexual orientation, gender identity and transgender health.
