In this role, I serve various ministry areas across LifeWay to execute all of their email strategy in a timely, efficient manner in order to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales. I also work to analyze the effectiveness of our email marketing by gathering and evaluating data in Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analytics. I also serve in a dual role on my team as a Customer Analyst. My responsibilities include building queries in SAS and MicroStrategy to identify purchasing, reporting on key customer and sales metrics, and performing customer segmentation.

UNITE is a ministry of our church that focuses on driving racial reconciliation in Nashville and in Tennessee. On the UNITE team, I work directly with senior pastors and government leaders to engage and educate citizens, faith leaders, and civic leaders on racism, injustice, and inequality. We drive dialogue and prayer in our local community through prayer walks, round table discussions, and presentations. My responsibilities on the team include managing our financial budget, designing social media content, writing content as the voice of our senior pastor, and developing relationships with local churches.As a student, I served on the leadership team for our campus ministry, Every Nation Campus, at Vanderbilt. When I graduated, I transitioned on to our campus and international ministry staff. I was responsible for driving our student engagement at Vanderbilt, planning our student events, and designing marketing strategy. I focused on building friendships with students through personal conversations and provided mental and spiritual support to them throughout their time in college.

As a summer intern on the Customer Marketing & Analytics team at LifeWay, I was given leadership over our team's transition from SAS to MicrStrategy as a main reporting tool. I rebuilt our team's key data queries in MicroStrategy, audited the resulting reports for accuracy, provided documentation to our analysts, and leveraged the reporting capabilities of MicroStrategy to automate some of our reporting processes. I acted as our team's main liaison with the Business Intelligence team to determine priorities, troubleshoot problems with our data, and improve the functionality of the tool.

In this role, I coded and processing over 20,000 commissionable transactions completed by financial advisors, totaling $3.64 million in revenue and roughly $5.64 billion of new assets under management. My responsibilities included validating the accuracy of our transaction data, communicating with brokers and financial institutions, and analyzing pro forma models of the company's compensation structure. In addition to my day-to-day responsibilities, I researched $115,000 of commissionable revenue that was being held in the system due to failed licensing checks, resulting in a 59.9% reduction in the number of held transactions, and developed a new process for my team to use to review license checks.

I produced expense reports for company credit cards and for travel, aided in payments and records of current accounts payable, managed hundreds of key industry contacts, and helped prepare marketing materials for the company's annual Fishing and Golf Tournaments with clients.

I was a competitive swimmer and loved going to my neighborhood pool as a child, so being a lifeguard was an easy first job choice. During the summer, I earned a full bonus based on exemplary performance in maintaining pool safety, performing routine chemical checks and recalibration, and communicating with management.
