NSTAR Electric & Gas Corporation – Westwood, MA 2006-2009Commodity Manager - Senior Contracts Agent  Oversaw Corporate Wide Sourcing responsibilities for Procurement of over $431MM in Sub-Station & Transmission Construction Projects, and Environmental Services. Significant cost avoidances were realized.  Initiated the procurement process and provided leadership for the “Improvements to American Legion Highway Project” and the 345kV Phase II Pipe Type Cable “Transmission Reliability Project”.  Negotiated a $100K cost savings per year with Clean Harbors for the procurement of Environmental Services. Developed and executed a Small Business Supplier Diversity Program. Exceeded total spend goal to diverse small business by 30% in 2008.

Polaroid Corporation – Waltham, MA 2000-2006Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) Corporate Wide responsibilities for coordinating all of Polaroid’s Small Business activities both internally and externally, including but not limited to establishing goals, policies, process as well as performance metrics reporting. Revitalized Polaroid’s Small Business Program in 2003 and led the Small Business Program to an “Acceptable” rating by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).Commodity Manager - Senior Buyer–Indirect/Direct Purchasing Corporate Wide Procurement and Sourcing responsibilities for purchasing of Preventative Maintenance and Repair (PM&R) Services. Initiated and managed the Strategic Sourcing Process (SSP) for seven Facility Management commodities. The SSP process resulted in annual cost savings of $200K. Initiated the first use of Reverse Auctions (Online Bidding) at Polaroid for the procurement of Uniforms (Protective Clothing) and Industrial Power Vehicles Preventative Maintenance (PM) Services. Realized $80K in Cost Savings. Consulted and provided leadership in the procurement of Coated Webs & Laminates, Packaging, and Resins totaling $10MM. Managed raw material sourcing strategies and purchased price variance (PPV) to obtain $100K in annual cost savings.

 Executed an action plan in support of the Corporation's Year 2000 Compliance goals. GE Power Systems (GE Energy) - Harrisville, RI 1995 to 1997Sourcing Specialist – Sourcing Buyer - Manager Optimized and provided leadership in all GE / Ocean State Power procurement activities, resulting in lower acquisition costs, higher quality, and increased productivity. Total Operating Budget of $23.5M. Managed the sourcing of three major Construction Programs. The Selective Catalytic Recovery System, Chemical Emission Management System, and the Waste Water Treatment Modernization Project. All three projects met or exceeded program goals. Implemented Sourcing, Purchasing, and Procurement Best Practices, which resulted in $3.5M in cost savings.
