At Capgemini Engineering, I am working as an Account Manager for ASML. My role is to support ASML and help them by providing solutions for issues they face. Solutions we offer are project or flex based, depending on the ASML request and need. Because of our extensive knowledge within the domains of Software, Testing, Mechanical, Electrical and Digital Manufacturing we can provide our clients the solutions they require to quickly move forward and to have the edge over their competition.Besides that, I was responsible for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM). MOM is a collection of systems for managing end-to-end manufacturing processes with a view to optimizing efficiency. This includes managing business resources such as people, technology, equipment, and other resources that improve the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturer.

As a project manager I had two roles; managing projects and managing and educating project engineers. My role within the projects was to deliver them in time (there are about 20-25 projects running at the same time). The main focus was to stay in contact with production and to keep the Client informed about the status of the project. I also managed 5 project engineers who I helped, supported and educated where needed.

As an account executive I supported the account manager. I analysed and processed Client data, requested costings using the data, prepared presentations and prepared proposals for Clients. I also supported the account manager when he was visiting Clients. Besides that I was the link between the account manager and the rest of the organisation (as a project manager role).

As a technical work planner I needed to plan maintenance for the railway tracks and I had to outsource all personnel, materials and licenses related to the specific maintenance needed.

As a Project Engineer it was my job to be the link for my employer between Clients and suppliers, to keep track of project planning, to coordinate tasks between the different project departments and to commercially and technically ensure the project requirements are met. During my job I had to frequently travel abroad and even stayed 5 months in Dubai as part of one of my projects. The owner of the company asked me to join the team again. As chief bodywork I was acting as a repairer of the bodywork (grinding and painting). Besides repairing I was also fabricating new (small) elements for the cars. My focus in 2011 and 2012 was cycling. In these years I sacrificed everything for the sport. Cycling taught me how to deal with the wishes of the employer at one side and the wishes and dreams of myself on the other side. I found out it is give and take and that formed me as a person. Relationships with other people can never be unilateral.The most difficult thing of 2011 and 2012 was the combination of work and sport. Multiple times I had to train after I had worked. As mechanic I was servicing the cars during race weekends and back in the workshop. I was responsible for fueling the cars during the weekends and for repairing the bodywork. My job as a second mechanic in the first year was to service Renault Clio’s. The second year I was responsible for 6 Renault Méganes. My job description was still second mechanic but as the year progressed I got more tasks and responsibilities which meant I was more like a first mechanic. Besides my job I spent my free time to design a pit stop program in Microsoft Excel in order to help out the engineers of the team. My job during my final internship was to aerodynamically better the Ceemo Concept Car. My task was to implement new aerodynamic parts together with requirements of Ceemo Engineering. I designed the new parts and together with another student these parts were placed in the SolidWorks model. After this the model was put into EFDLab together with all the boundaries, airflow speeds and a mesh specially designed for the model. Boundaries are like a certain amount of air going in and out of the model, temperatures and pressures. The mesh is made for the accuracy of the calculations performed by EFDLab. The mesh should be dense near the model in order to obtain good results.After the calculations were made by EFDLab I evaluated the item by especially looking for down force and drag figures. This process was done for every new part. At KLM I worked at assigning taskcards for the maintenance division via the software that is used at KLM. My job was to check the references on the taskcards and change the references where needed. Every task to be performed during maintenance of an aircraft needs to be printed, a taskcard. A taskcard consist(s) of (a) reference(s) to instructions that need to be performed in order to remove/unlock parts for example. The references on the task cards were not matching with the tasks sometimes, I solved this.I also made a survey for the department to find out how the efficiency could be bettered.
