I teach Constitutional Law and Principles of Public Law. I am also a Research Fellow in the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies. Constitutional law focuses on the Commonwealth Constitution. Principles of Public Law covers key principles of public international law, domestic public law, and the convergence of international law and domestic law. I have previously taught Constitutional Law at the Australian National University (2020) and the University of New South Wales (2018). I have previously taught Public Law at the University of Tasmania (2014).

I am a senior litigator in the Pasifika (Pacific) Program, where I focus on climate and environmental justice cases. The cases I am involved in are often at the intersection of human rights, indigenous rights and environmental protection, and often involve aspects of constitutional and international law.The Pasifika (Pacific) Program is focused on strengthening public interest environmental law in the Pacific. To date, the Program has focused on partnerships and work in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands. Our work involves working hand in hand with lawyers and partner organisations in the Pacific to run litigation in local courts, analyse policy and law, conduct community outreach training and support communications and stories about environmental issues in the Pacific.

The case was subsequently discontinued by the Appellant following a change in the federal Government.
