Rohini Kumar, an Associate Partner, specializes in advising and assisting clients with respect to both contentious and non-contentious aspects of Trademark, Copyright and Design Law. Rohini has extensive experience in advising and assisting Clients on IP prosecution matters in India as well across foreign jurisdictions. She also advises clients on pre-litigation and litigation strategies for initiating trademark infringement and take-down actions to enforce their soft IP rights and works in tandem with the Litigation Strategy Team.In addition to this, she has been advising clients for securing their rights on various IP commercialization aspects of soft IP rights relating to Trademark and Copyright assignments and co-existence agreements have global implications. Also, her scope of work entails providing strategic advice to clients to identify, evaluate and enforce their soft IP assets, handling prosecution, post-registration matters including assignments and renewals and manages the overseas portfolios of clients. She also defends the clients from time to time before the IP Office.
