In today's competitive business environment, companies can only survive and survive well, if they are able to sustain a robust topline and healthy bottomline on a month on month basis.A few good months and a few average months does nothing for the future well being of a company.My experience of more than 20 years handling sales for reputed brands across Retail Banking,Insurance,Media has given me a perspective to forecast clearly the challenges that my business might face in the future and ways to insulate against the same.I firmly believe there are no bad months in sales, it is only bad planning.This has held me in good stead during my current assignment in The Times of India Group as well.Over the past 10 years, I have led my business to a healthy revenue and EBITDA growth.What has been the reason for this growth? Strategically, my team has been moulded into one which creates business rather than waits for business to come.We have created many revenue streams which did not exist for the company till a few years back.This has been our biggest reason for growth year on year, where we only add further revenue opportunities to the existing ones.This has become a culture within my team which I am very proud off.
