The project was for UGH Agents to see their policies that are brought in by them for UHG. They can check for all type of policies, plan, riders offered by UHG. Agent can check their commission, their bonus etc. and they can generate report for same as well.

Project deals complete life cycle of an insurance policy, namely, New Business, Policy Admin, Underwriting & Claim Processing. In Policy Admin our major task is in premium calculation, earning unearned premiums, commission & bonus calculation. Also we have policy import functionality, which will import a policy from third party system, in form of XML which should be in-compliance with ACORD standards, industry wide standards used by insurance companies. Likewise we have functionality to export a policy, again in form of XML and as per ACORD standards. Apart from above features, we also maintain a general ledger for insurer for all involved parties i.e. for agents, agencies, policy owner etc.

Farm Bureau Limited is US based Insurance sector firm. The project, PIC (Producer Incentive & Compensation), is a Commission system. It is an Incentive (Contests) and Compensation (Commission and Accounting) system. PIC is a unique product as it calculates Commissions for all LOBs – Life and Annuity, P&C, Health, Crop, Mutual Funds etc. PIC, Producer Incentive and Compensation, replaces a 35 year old, COBOL and VSAM based system AGTI. Approx 55 Policy admin systems will send their premium feed to FBL every month, where PIC will calculate commissions to the tune of $5 million/month in Life commissions and $10 million/month in P&C commissions.

The project is aimed at testing a comprehensive 3-tier web application with UI developed on Adobe-Flex technology. Implemented a testing approach using Quality Center and QuickTest Professional along with Flex Add-in. The system is meant to cater the operational and statistical needs of huge and geographically diverse network of Crawford & Co. pertaining to Insurance business. Application was developed on cairngorm framework using SOAP webservices for fetching data.

The project, Information Delivery Desktop (IDD) developed for Citi Private Banking, is developed to be integrated with various Citi Group applications in a single portal application which includes eRelationship Management System (eRMS). This application primarily designed to help the Relationship Manager to make their job easier. The RM can access all the applications in a single sign on mode. eRelationship Management System (eRMS) will display the consolidated portfolio summary for a particular portfolio number. And also display the current market rate of the individual asset class and give detail information about customer investment. The customer is provided with a printed report for asset class level and individual.
