I am a tax partner in PwC’s Private Clients business. I work with the owners and senior management of privately owned businesses to proactively manage their tax affairs by providing commercially focussed, timely, up-to-date tax advice.I am based in Melbourne, and also have experience working in London, New York, and Perth. I have worked with a range of clients including privately owned groups, listed Australian companies, global private equity and hedge funds, and superannuation funds.Whilst I specialise in Australian corporate and international tax advice, I try to bring a broader perspective to client conversations. If I can’t help you personally, I can usually connect you with the right person.I like to think of myself as responsive, easy to work with, and someone who always acts with integrity.I really enjoy hearing the stories of innovative businesses that have started from scratch, and the entrepreneurs behind them. Areas of expertise include:- Business restructuring;- Assisting with M&A transactions (including getting prepared for sale, tax due diligence, and structuring)- Managing Australian Taxation Office (ATO) relationships including audits and review- Managing tax compliance obligations (tax returns, tax effect accounting etc)- International tax advice, including specialist knowledge of the recently legislated hybrid mismatch rulesI always welcome new connections.
