Rohit is driven to solve problems that have the potential to change the way we live today. Either by saving people time by flying them over congested cities or by increasing road safety using autonomous vehicles, the challenge of solving the "unknown" excites him. To accomplish this, Rohit focuses on actionable intelligence and building data-driven products that can efficiently scale to provide maximum benefits. In the past 10 years, Rohit has mainly worked on new entrants in Aviation and Surface transportation sector like Drones, Air Taxis, Supersonics, Commercial Space and L2/+ Autonomous vehicles. He has spearheaded a diverse set of projects in the product, strategy, policy, data science and machine learning domains at Joby, Uber, Booz Allen and Volpe. Currently, at Boeing, he leads the strategy for sustainability and future mobility team with a focus on Hydrogen, Hybrid-Electric and SAF-powered airplanes. Rohit was named NYU's "Emerging Leader in Transportation", and National Academies TRB's "Young Leader" and is widely recognized as an influencer in the Advanced Air Mobility domain. He is also an Impact Investor and Advisor to purpose-built startups with a passion for solving complex education, productivity, health and transportation-related challenges. Additionally, Rohit volunteers his time to health and education-related causes.Rohit is a life long learner. He holds a Masters from Harvard University jointly with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)'s Indian School of Mines (ISM) University.
