I was working as a maintenance engineer in Alliance tyre group , world's leader in off the road(OTR) tyres. It has a presence of over 120 countries and 6 continents. I am a shift engineer lookin after the maintenance of the plant alloting works to the manpower, following and getting jobs from other and checking the credibility of the same. Currently I am handling a team of 70 workmen and 7 supervisors. Assigning work to the maintenance employees and inspecting their work for completeness.  Determining material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transferring equipment from one project to another as necessary Keeping time cards and other routine records.  Coordinating, installing, inspecting, repairing and maintaining the mechanical and other related systems in all tire building machines.  Coordinating, inspecting, operating and maintaining all the tire building machines, marangoni, bestry machines and band building machines. Doing general repairs such as breakdown of moving element, minor faults and breakage of machine elements. Coordinating renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.

 Checking the supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule to be in line with the construction schedules and contractual commitments prior to the start of work.  Planning work, monitoring and reporting progress control, and monitoring the job based on technician ability to achieve the highest productivity & customer satisfaction. Ensuring that the job is completed within the scheduled delivery time & continuously updating the job status. Monitoring and controlling the fabrication activities as per the contract specification/ codes and standards /approved drawings and procedures, work instructions, and material identification. Closely monitoring the welder individual performance. Strictly implementing the WPS & PQR instructions and maintaining parameters reports. Monitoring and controlling the repair percentage of each welder. Inspecting the materials for purchase order review, incoming material condition, grade, heat number and heat number transfer. Verification of Material Test certificates with reference to standards and Supplier Stamp. Monitoring of storage and handling of Welding consumables. Witnessing the welding clearance, hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, hardness testing, stress reliving and all type of mechanical testing in the laboratory as per the process route chart schedule by following the code of construction. Conducting visual clearance with dimensional inspection and final inspection.
