Search Comcast • Search Comcast is an internal search platform designed to help employees easily find relevant resources within Comcast. • I was responsible for developing multiple React UI components to enhance the user experience on the search page. • Additionally, I created Node.js REST APIs to enable seamless communication between the frontend and backend. • On the backend, I indexed various data sources into the search engine, including the Azure people directory, Confluence articles, Jira tickets, GitHub repositories, and ServiceNow knowledge articles.BuddyNet • BuddyNet is an app designed to facilitate peer-to-peer connections between new joiners. • I developed the backend machine learning algorithms that match new employees with peers based on shared interests. • Additionally, I contributed to the frontend by creating React UI components to deliver an intuitive user interface for seamless interaction.ComcastNow Downtime Page • ComcastNow is an internal portal that aggregates news and updates about Comcast. • I worked on developing a Downtime page that is displayed whenever ComcastNow is temporarily unavailable. • The page was built using React, and I created an admin portal with a WYSIWYG editor to allow easy, real-time content updates by administrators. • This tool enables dynamic management of the downtime page content without needing direct code changes.
