As Practice Facilitator I provided training, coaching, mentoring and support to staff working across Disability Services to embed positive behaviour and person-centered active support principles and practice. The role offered specialised professional service including supporting staff to implement Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans. Outcomes focus on social and economic participation of the people with disability we serviced; enhancing their community presence, participation, contribution, choice and valued roles.Facilitating behaviour support training, management of actual and potential aggression, and a number of other courses. Managing large teams, working with complex trauma, child protection, disability, dual diagnosis and the mental health sector.
