Loans are sourced and curated from vetted private lenders throughout the United States who have real estate expertise and borrower relationships. The model allows for more qualified borrowers to access capital and improve their local communities, one house at a time. The company is led by former real estate attorney Brew Johnson, former Google executive Brett Crosby and Y Combinator alumnus Alex Perelman.

VP of West Coast Institutional client team proactively establishing relationships with Pensions, Foundations, Endowments, single family offices and institutional investors in the Western US and Canada. As part of this team I work with portfolio managers, investment analysts, senior research staff, our national sales team and management. My responsibilities include driving new business relationships, negotiating sales contracts, projecting future revenue, balancing client value with resource allocation, and leveraging Evercore ISI's product to develop custom tailored investment ideas and solutions for existing clients. I focus on investment idea generation which incorporate macroeconomic and fundamental equity research on homebuilding, REIT, and consumer product companies.

While at Mesa West Capital my responsibilities include working with brokers, originating, and underwriting commercial real estate loans using Excel and ARGUS for $3.5 billion private equity fund.

While at Millennium Partners I created a mortgage REIT investment strategy based on fundamental analysis. I modeled individual mortgage REITs, monitored sector performance, and made investment recommendations to my portfolio manager. My responsibilities also included researching ongoing subprime mortgage backed securities litigation, pricing CMBS mezzanine bonds and energy sector WHFITs for trading using Excel and Bloomberg.

I represented RBC Capital Markets Equity Research to institutional investors such as Capital Group, Primecap, NWQ, Tradewinds, Oaktree, PIMCO, Ivory Investments, Empyrean Capital and TCW. I generated ad-hoc reports for different groups within RBC Capital Markets. I created Excel macros to simplify and expedite routine processes, resulting in new processes which take half the time of predecessors.

At Bank of America Merrill Lynch I worked as part of a team to manage client investment portfolios. My responsibilities included modeling fixed income, equity, and fund investments based on valuation, volatility, interest rate exposure, and suitability to each client. On a daily basis I had to manage client relationships and deepen client engagement by incorporating other Bank of America services.

At Trillium I managed a $3.2M portfolio of exchange-listed US equities. I created new and successful trading strategies based on quarterly earnings, pharmaceutical news(PDUFA dates, FDA releases, drug trial results), financial news(TARP borrowing and repayments, possible bankruptcy filings), and monitoring SEC filings for corporate events(e.g. mergers, acquisitions, debt exchanges, securities purchases).

I modeled the performance of the bonds underlying the ABX indices using Excel to create cumulative default rate curves, cumulative prepayment rate curves and cumulative repayment rate curves which were applied to the INTEX yield calculator. I forecasted cumulative losses for subprime mortgage bonds by analyzing combined ongoing delinquent, bankrupt, foreclosed and real estate owned properties with loan loss severities, amortization rates and servicing practices. I analyzed $200 million asset backed securities portfolio and priced MBS on INTEX by applying standardized rating agency loss rates, externally calculated loss rates, and internally calculated loss rates
