With a PhD in Fluid Dynamics and Energetics, I have a strong background in numerical modelling for both fluid simulations and first principle modelling. In my current employment as a product development engineer, I learnt project management and the whole process of designing a mechanical subsystem from early prototypes to production, including failure mode analysis, quality assessment and solving post-production issues. I look forward to new challenges in an innovative engineering company in the Christchurch area.
Listed skills include Cfd, Combustion, Thermo Acoustic Unstability, Compressible Flow, and 32 others.

I am working in the Statistic department of the university, assisting researchers on their numerical issues. The domain of application is genetic evaluation for sheep breeding and my main work is to help researcher handle their numerical code and hardware. I am working on existing codes which are doing big data analysis, to test and validate them, introduce version control and increase performance.

- Study of combustion instability in a high pressure rocket injector- Unsteady LES simulations (using AVBP)- Numerical post-processing, comparison to experimental results (Matlab, Shell scripting, Igor Pro)Combustion instabilities occurrence in high performance engine may be difficult to predict and leads to very expensive bench tests. The research is focused on the mechanism of apparition of thermo-acoustic instabilities and the ability of predicting these with numerical simulation for rocket-engine applications.Simulations of an unstable model rocket combustor with continuously variable acoustic properties thanks to a variable-length injector tube. Fully 3D compressible parallel Large-Eddy Simulations are conducted using the AVBP code. The triple-flame structure and stabilization of the flame are studied. An unstable operating point is then chosen to investigate the mechanism of the instability. Post-processing includes Fourier transform, power-spectral density analysis, and acoustic energy balances. The simulations are compared to experimental results in terms of frequency and mode structure.
