As Ocean Born Foundation's first Partnership Manager, my role involved developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy spanning accross three business units. I was instrumental in driving growth for the foundation over a 12-month period. Key achievements include:- 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡: Increased impact by 851% year-on-year, resulting in €915,187 raised for ocean health organisations from 100% of profits from all business lines being distributed through grants and investments.- 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Created a robust partnership strategy, integrating and streamlining efforts across Ocean Beer, Tailored by Ocean Born, and Ocean Born Lifestyle.- 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Focused on both online and offline blue community growth, forging alliances with a wide range of organisations including top NGOs, influencers, corporate giants, emerging changemakers and startups.- 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Successfully positioned Ocean Beer as the "Official Beer of the Ocean" through strategic partnerships and community engagement.- 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Facilitated connections between Ocean Born Impact fund and high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and investment firms.- 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲: Developed and approached a database of 500 high-profile events and clients, using a weighted criteria system to optimize growth in sales, community reach, and brand reputation - with high percentage long-term client conversion rate.

Distant Relatives is a certified and award-winning ecolodge designed as a safe space celebrating human diversity and sustainable living. Some key elements of my role:- 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Developed business plan and fundraised for land acquisition, construction and project launch. I grew Distant Relatives to €600k annual revenue, today employing 30 staff, with a crisis-resilient business model. Presently opening its second branch, Distant Relatives features 78 beds, a floating bar, restaurant, co-working space, swimming pool, private beach, volleyball court and more.- 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐑 & 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Oversaw plan, team and strategy growing audience to 50k+ followers across platforms.- 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Developed all in-house systems with a particular focus on Finance, HR and Administration.- 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Operated regular 14-day courses, designed and built all "eco" features and developed ESG policies and EIAs.- 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: Top 7 Best Independent Hostels in the World; Won biggest investment deal on KCB Lion’s Den TV Show; KTB’s top 30 Kenyan Signature Experiences; African Excellence Awards; Best Hostel in Kenya; TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence & Travelers Choice Awards.

Beneath the Baobabs (BTB) is a fully operational 50-acre venue capable of hosting up to 20,000 people with a mission to provide a safe platform fostering sustainable living, wellness and freedom of expression. BTB organizes a large variety of events showcasing the best of East African culture, music and arts with its flagship annual event Beneath the Baobabs Festival, attended by 5000+ people.- 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:Developed business plan, secured funding, negotiated land acquisition and grew company to €900k annual revenue today employing 20 staff (up to 150 casuals).- 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Oversaw brand creation, strategy and team reaching 55k audience.- 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Orchestrated high-level PR events, secured sponsorships and government partnerships.

Komaza is a tech-driven sustainable forestry company empowering smallholder farmers and revolutionizing the wood industry in Africa. I assisted the CEO in facilitating the company’s transition from non-profit to for profit, allowing Komaza to properly scale its operations and change its funding strategy.

OLRAC develops quantitative management tools for the recording and reporting of marine fisheries data.- Assisted CEO in adapting the software to emerging European fisheries reporting legislation.- Developed new communication & marketing tools to drive sales.

WWF, Nkwichi Lodge & Manda Wilderness Conservation Trust partnered together to explore to establishment of the first Freshwater Protected Area on Lake Malawi. I coordinated the research and liaison between partners.

Reef HQ is the world's largest living coral reef aquarium and plays a vital role in educating the community about the importance of the Great Barrier Reef. I managed the aquarium’s coral propagation project, was responsible for all water quality analysis and monitoring, marine animal husbandry including feeding, disease management, and population control, aquarium system maintenance and routine diving.
