As Ocean Born Foundation's first Partnership Manager, my role involved developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy spanning accross three business units. I was instrumental in driving growth for the foundation over a 12-month period. Distant Relatives is a certified and award-winning ecolodge designed as a safe space celebrating human diversity and sustainable living. Some key elements of my role:- 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Developed business plan and fundraised for land acquisition, construction and project launch. I grew Distant Relatives to €600k annual revenue, today employing 30 staff, with a crisis-resilient business model. Reef HQ is the world's largest living coral reef aquarium and plays a vital role in educating the community about the importance of the Great Barrier Reef. I managed the aquarium’s coral propagation project, was responsible for all water quality analysis and monitoring, marine animal husbandry including feeding, disease management, and population control, aquarium system maintenance and routine diving.
