Automated the generation of 19 RESTful calls in API client libraries by using a fork of the open-source openapi-generator. Reducing labor and difficulty for customers to generate API client libraries into simply running a ten minute script. SaaS product. Scrum, CI/CD.Created two fully tested and linted packages with test scripts in Ruby and Node.js/Typescript.Regarding the openapi-generator: -upstreamed bug fixes to the openapi-generator itself -changes were made to the YAML file used by the api-generators (the OAS spec) -kept OneSignal specific changes to openapi-generator local to OneSignal forkRegarding the Onesignal server code:Added functionality to work with openapi-generator: -added bearer auth -added ability to use Epoch time as request parameterOverall, what was accomplished was similar to the roadmap of the internship. I succeeded in the creation of multiple SDK packages including NodeJS. While there were less than the desired amount of SDK packages released, I discovered that some of the desired SDK packages such as Rust and Java were not possible to easily create due to inconsistencies in feature offerings in the different openapi-generators. Additionally, I made a couple of server-side changes which were not expected from the internship.
