Excited to start teaching, "Introduction of Python for Machine Learning" at New College of Florida Honors School

Machine Learning, AI, PyTorch, Python and more.I work cross-functionally to bring data science and cutting edge machine learning, including Generative AI applications, into the hands of users. I can support your machine learning pipeline, from data to inference, as well as the product integration.

My current research falls into three broad areas: Fundamental AI, Exoplanet Astronomy, Quantum Computing.In my AI research Dr. Konstantin Matchev and I are interested in pushing the boundaries of AI and Machine Learning techniques, rethinking and improving upon state of the art techniques and applying them to Particle Physics and Exoplanet Astronomy. Also in Exoplanet Astronomy, working with Dr. Katia Matcheva, we have published three papers and put forth a novel method which uses physical principles to inform AI systems which seek to solve the inverse problem of determining atmospheric constituents from observed spectra of light which partially passes through the exoplanet's atmosphere.In my Quantum Computing research we are preparing two papers for publication which propose new algorithms and Hamiltonians for use on adiabatic quantum annealing systems.

During this period I coauthored two papers which resulted from my research. The first used computational geometry to develop novel analysis methods for spatial data. The second addressed a theoretical issue using GAN generated data to supplement the needs of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) data analysis pipeline.

During my first year as a PhD student at UF I taught undergraduate Physics I Labs. This involved preparing a lecture to explain the physics behind the week's experiment, answering students' questions, grading assignments, and developing new ways to engage students.I have always enjoyed teaching and took pride in my clear explanations. I always emphasized the importance of understanding the elegant underlying principles as opposed to blindly carrying out the procedure. My students' appreciation of these efforts was reflected in my exceptional evaluations.
