Research into robust evaluation methods for object detection systems in a context of data frugality

During my internship at Locuta as an AI engineer, I carried out two research projects to improve the company's services. Speech Editing project: Creation of a system for editing audio files based on their French text transcription. The project involved several weeks of data recovery and cleaning, as well as training Deep Learning models. State of the art of LLMs: Carrying out an in-depth state of the art of large model languages at the time of their emergence. Several application cases and solutions were proposed for the company after experimenting with the capabilities of the different models.

VegetalSignals is a pioneering company in analyzing the electrical activity of crops to translate their state in real-time, thereby contributing to precision agriculture. During my internship, I contributed to several key aspects of their infrastructure and development, including:• Researching a solution for IoT data storage• Creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) to choose the best solution• Improving the company's storage architecture• Developing a REST API and a tool to automate SD card data offloading• Migrating data to the new data systemFollowing my internship, I had the opportunity to continue collaborating with VegetalSignals as a freelance developer.

In parallel with my studies in artificial intelligence, I use my computer science skills to work as a freelancer on various IT projects. In these projects, my role is to develop and maintain IT solutions that meet the needs of my clients. Additionally, I act as a consultant, advising them on the best development choices for their business.

During my experience at the IMSIC Laboratory, I contributed to improving an open-source tool designed to simplify patent research for researchers. My role involved adding new features to the application and making it accessible to a wider audience. I added functionalities such as an interface that allows researchers to visualize the progress of their patent searches in real-time, as well as data visualization interfaces to make patent-related information more accessible and comprehensible.
