I have had more than 20 years building and leading SaaS companies with a focus in the business-to-business space. My enduring interest is in the power of communication to deepen relationships between businesses and people.I am currently Co-founder and CEO of Operata, the leading CX Observability platform for Cloud Contact Centers.In 2016 I formed Founderfounder to build and invest in SaaS businesses. Founderfounder works as an investor and strategic advisor to ambitious seed stage startups. In 2017/2018 I spent time as CMO & CPO of Smooch.io (Acq:Zendesk). At Smooch we worked to humanise the relationships between businesses and their customers by powering software makers to build conversations into their products.Prior to this, I was co-founder and COO at Whispir (ASX:WSP), a venture-backed communications SaaS company where I led product, development, operations and customer success.With diverse C-level experience from product/market fit, go-to-market strategy to market establishment and expansion, I have worked internationally in high growth businesses in the Australian, New Zealand, Asian and North American markets. As an operator from startup to scaleup, my experience encompasses 15+ years of board experience, capital raising and corporate and business development.I am also an active technology investor with investments in areas spanning the creative, design and communications space.I am a supporter of Melbourne startups through my probono work with Founderfounder and my mentoring and coaching of local founders.
