My role for this non-profit is to help present the results of our annual survey for a particular issue important to Congress. With a growing membership across Republican, Democratic, and Independent voters, we focus on the details of policy in areas where the is some bi-partisan interest. I will focus on working with the Texas delegation, describing what the survey results indicate as a resource for them in crafting the legistlation.

Chief Architect of IBM Insight Cloud Services, and Smarter Cities Strategist.The IBM Insight Cloud Services is a new service that combines the power of a cloud Data Lake with data science that produces industry insights as a subscription SaaS model. The service combines the power and scale of the Weather Company with new data partnerships and IBM enterprise data to provide context never before available in a single place.This combination of data sources is then harvested by our Data Science team, based on repeatable customer engagements from our global reach of partners and enterprises. My role is to create the overall architecture components, flow, and detailed characteristics for the development teams to build. We are leveraging a lot of open source big data components, such as Cassandra, Redis, and Spark, in combination with traditional IBM enterprise level assets for data ingestion, cleansing, and governance.

Chief Architect for the Intelligent Operations Center, the IBM Software Platform for Smarter Cities engagements, and it corresponding domain products:Intelligent Transportation, Intelligent Water Management, and Intelligent City Planning & Operations, as well as the Integrated Information Core.This software supports different Operations Centers in cities, regional municipal organizations, stadiums, airports, and other site complexes. Bringing together different agencies into a single geospatial view, providing analytics for visualization and optimization, displaying key performance indicators, and linking events to standard operating procedures for operations personnel to follow.Included in the portfolio are the Intelligent Law Enforcement, Intelligent Video Analytics, and the Curam social services products.
