I represent businesses, individuals and local governments when they run afoul of environmental regulations, and when they face regrulatory enforcement actions or civil lawsuits brought by State or Federal Agencies or by private parties seeking penalties or damages for alleged injury. My goal is to help clients comply, and to manage well the circumsances where liability is discovered or alleged. My favorite cases are the ones where we manage the historic problem in a way that puts it away for good, and improves the client's position going forward in terms of reduced costs, improved compliance, and enhanced market advantage.Specialties: Specialty areas include Clean Air Act compliance and permitting, waste and wastewater disposal, clean-ups and environmental issues arising in the purchase, sale and redevelopment of real property.
