With over twenty years of experience in the Information Technology industry, including five years in the automotive industry, eleven years in health care, and nine years in electronic commerce and web applications development, Ron Bean brings to bear a broad-base of skills including program and project management, business consulting, client and vendor relationship management, new business development and product development.As a Managing Consultant for EDS’ Business Acceleration Services, he led and provided support for consulting engagements across multiple industries, focused on aligning customer business objectives with electronic commerce and web application solutions for companies that included eBay, Electrolux, Irvine Inc., and Avery-Denison.Ron has also played a key role in developing the offerings and services EDS provides to its customers, including E.business Exchange, Xpress Store, ByDesign, EnrollmentWizard, and the Sun ONE Secure Enterprise Information Portal. Under Ron’s leadership, several of these offerings (see below) have garnered EDS several notable achievement awards.Ron is an avid Amatuer Radio enthusiast and holds an Extra Class Telecommunciations license.Stemming from a long-time interest in environmental issues, Ron started EnviroLogic to help educate the general public on environmental problems and practical methods for reducing their carbon footprint, energy consumption and steps they can take to get there.
