Provide Middle Office trade support for firm’s Equity, Fixed Income and Quant trading desk.Check quality and consistency of each trade captured and performed final validation (as defined in OPER procedures)Ensure client trades are booked accurately and in a timely manner.PnL reconciliation and ad-hoc support request.Identify, Report and Resolve any trade discrepancies that could cause trade to fail reducing claims.Liaise between Front Office and other support departments (Compliance & IT) to ensure smooth settlements for domestic and international trades.Provide support for Government Treasuries, Agencies, Municipals, Mortgage Backed Securities and Repo trading desk.Ensure all fixed income trades booked by Portfolio Managers are settled on contractual settlement date.Ensure Credit Derivatives and Interest Rate swap payments settle in a timely and accurate manner by confirming payments at least 2 weeks in advance.
