Worked with Owner, Facilities Manager, and other Staff to oversee rink operations creating and maintaining a safe, educational, and fun overall customer experience. Collaborated with numerous user groups to schedule and sell ice for practices, games, tournaments, special events, and day to day rink operations. Forecasted and created budgets to maximize use of resources and profitability. Identified, anticipated, and averted potential issues and conflicts with rink activities, staff, and customers. Created and maintained rink website and marketed rink activities to acquire new customers on social media, print media, schools, and other outlets. Oversaw and coordinated installation of second ice sheet, new chiller system, new lobby, second level, bathrooms, and both regular and custom locker room. Built and Maintained good relationships with customers and vendors, often through conflict resolution management. Recruited, built, and maintained teams of carpenters. Managed all accounting and banking functions. Grew company sales to a peak of $6.5 million in 2007.

Prince William County, Va

Oversaw the administrative and business operations of the club. Organized and oversaw a new team to correct budgeting errors discovered at the first meeting after being elected club president, after learning from the outgoing president that the club had lost almost $20K each of the past 2 seasons, had fully depleted cash reserves, and the current CFO resigned. Absorbed and assimilated members of Fredericksburg Hockey Club after their host rink closed.
