- Read blueprints, schematic diagrams and other specifications to maintain continuous production flow. - Performs high voltage electrical repairs (e.g. AR coater, CNC machinery...). - Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment - Test new equipment and troubleshoot operation, and make minor adjustments to equipment.- Responsible of all required records for each production machine.- Track all parts in stock for production. Maintain necessary parts to avoid parts delay orders. - Responsible for RMA returns and all ordering for production equipment- Responsible for HVAC systems and building codes( e.g.Fire system,alarm...)- Involved in safety committees or initiatives. - Call suppliers on contract maintenance

Finishing my studies this was my first start in the industry, Being surprised I did not know that Nikon also had a optical division. I begin learning with another technician that will leave in 1 year to begin another plant in BC.
