Contact me today: 724-675-7108 rjohnson@pennmach.com• Manage all bid opportunities and sales activity in the Western USA.Prepare bids, contracts and proposals for multi-year projects with Transit Authorities and rail car manufacturers.• Educate transit authorities and managers of railroad equipment, facilities, engineering, traction motor repair shops, and procurement groups.• Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships. Develop new customer relationships.• Present value-based product pricing to rail engineering and procurement departments of Class I railroads, short line and regional railroads, locomotive repair shops, transit authorities, ports, and mining operations.• Extensive knowledge of transit authorities, railroads, and their procurement process.• Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships as well as new customer relationships.• Operate as the voice of the customer to convey customer requirements and resolve technical or commercial conflicts.• Create sales forecasts, business planning, strategic marketing plans.
