Invited to a Railtrack infrastructure renewals contract from Manchester to Oldham (£40+ m). • Developing to working document status (Railtrack approval), the Contractors Safety Case, Quality Plan and Health and Safety Plan from the tender drafts. Review and update as necessary during the contract period• Reviewing/rejecting/accepting all subcontractors Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety documents.• Producing site specific QA procedures, and the Environmental Management Programme.• Setting up and ensuring maintenance of all quality, safety, environmental, risk and CDM records and registers.• Trackside auditing of activities (PTS qualified)

Invited to a new build self-contained holiday village complex contract, total value (£60+m), Cumbria, England• Managing, monitoring and site auditing all aspects of company systems (QA/QC/HSE) during the construction phase. Production, updating, control and issue of all site specific plans and documentation.• Review of all subcontractor documentation (method statements, risk assessments, H&S Plans etc)• Collating all final documentation for the client at contract close (H&S File; O&Ms). • Liaison with HSE, Local Authority departments, emergency services, and the general local community on this high profile contract throughout the contract. • Site safety inspections and reports, monitor actions to effective close.
