Responsible for pricing in EMEA and supporting APAC. Analysing pricing structures and propose improvements. Investigate pricing issues by checking pricing procedures, acces sequences and table combinations. Controls on customer master (hierarchy) structure to avoid pricing differences. Keeping the current and historical or agreement pricelists up to date and set up new ones when required. Controls on manual conditions in sales orders to avoid SOX issues. Creating reports in BW or directly in SAP by with SQ00 or SQVI queries to help sales and marketing making the proper decisions regarding customer discount structures or pricing levels for product groups. Providing the KPMG and EY accountants the required down- uploads and authorizations regarding price and discount changes in SAP and the quoting tool. Setting up Access databases for requested checks in sales and service for which we currently don’t have a SAP or BW solution.

Analyzing and optimizing pricing in SAP mainly for EMEA and APAC but also globally. In this time frame we replaced the majority of conditions, access sequences and pricing procedures globally. The global live system got updated in 2 steps of 1 weekend. Business stopped Friday afternoon and continued again on Monday morning with a completely renewed pricing system. Both times without any major hiccup.

During the start of Tennant in Antwerp we started with 20+ new colleagues, none of them had any experience with SAP. With the help of some of the colleagues from the 7 local offices these new colleagues took over jobs from the local offices in NL GB DE ES PT IT and FR. Now 15 years later Antwerp is still fully functioning and 4 of the original new staff are still working for Tennant .
