From 2016 to 2019 I was part of PhilStar Media Group – the leading publishing company in the Philippines owning several newspaper titles like Philippine Star, Pilipino Star Ngayon, Freeman, Business Mirror and PangMASA-- as their Accounting Officer and at the same time from 2017 to 2019 as their Social Media Host on their program online every Friday called “Papremyo ni Star Ngayon”. As accounting officer and customer experience agent, I have developed strong communication skills because I was receiving and giving calls of and to the client. On the same field itself, I also learned how to prepare summary of accounts where my own format of presenting the statement is the format they are still using up to this day.As social media host, I have developed strong collaborative working techniques since I am with my two other co-hosts. We are giving and receiving ideas to and from each other on how we can express ourselves in a fun but professional way given that we are representing PhilStar Media Group. Not to mention that we have to think quick in view of the fact that the program is spontaneous and not scripted. We got a chance to promote famous brands on this program (sponsorship).Subsequent to my resignation on my beloved company, I was hired by Chase Advertising, Inc. on September 2019 as their on-call talent. I got a chance to work with several known companies –LAZADA, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Sharp Philippines to name a few—since Chase Advertising is a marketing agency. I am currently their social media talent, creative head and video director.
