Responsibilities included repair, upgrade and implementation of new broadcast RF (Harris, RCA), microwave RF, network, server, database, automation, telecommunication systems. Responsible for providing documentation and training of staff on operation and monitoring of equipment. Maintained constant compliance documentation for all FCC regulations including monitoring and logging from studio and at transmitter sites and as required for the Public File. Yearly budgeting and maintaining a tight engineering budget was crucial for this position.Responsible for facilities for the markets main studio location as well as 4 company owned transmitter sites, equipment located at 2 leased sites, as well as facilities of three sites leased to tenants. Responsibilities included but not limited to physical buildings, generators, HVAC systems, tower compliance with FAA regulations and security systems.

Learned programming for several proprietary systems including Wheatstone control surfaces, AMX systems, and some Crestron programming.Provided extensive support for PA EMnet (Emergency Managment Network) with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters for many stations around the Commonwealth.

Served as engineer for 6 radio stations, supporting all aspects from facilities work, network infrastructure, user workstations, servers, station automation, audio control and processing systems, traffic and billing system, and RF transmission systems. Developed and supported an ASP based commercial production and distribution system for the company, as well as designed web sites and managed content for several company radio stations. Provided IT support for several company markets, as well as assisted with various major changes at other markets within the company.

Managed all technical aspects of two radio station cluster (WMTZ-FM and WNTJ-AM). Maintained automation system for both stations, as well as traffic and billing system. Learned to repair broadcast equipment including satellite, station automation, audio control consoles and switching equipment and audio processing. Managed all web content for both stations, as well as served as talk-show producer and technical engineer for local and syndicated sporting events. Responsibilities also included facilities work including electrical, minor mechanical and structural work on the facility.
