As a Manager of Solution Delivery Architecture for Global Projects and Implementation, my Primary responsibilities include the Implementation and Onboarding of Mainframe and IBMi clients for Operations. Lead a Team of 10 Production Control Analysts. Responsible for providing Mainframe and iSeries monitoring and support / incident management. Proactively monitored systems for abnormalities, resolved incident and / or escalated to level 2 support. Monitored various job schedulers on both platforms and/or server environment. Interacted with various technical teams and delivery to support outsourcing clients.

As an Analyst in the Enterprise Operations Center, provided Technical Support to Computer Operators, Account teams, as well as other support groups. Maintained and assisted with ongoing technical applications and operations, to ensure the efficient and optimal operation of the Enterprise Operations Center. Responsible for scheduling software support, workload balancing of scheduled and non-scheduled work within the Enterprise Operations Center to include but not limited to the mainframe and server environment, support of code promotion and reporting products on mainframe and server environments.

Provided mainframe system monitoring and support / incident management. Proactively monitored systems for abnormalities, resolved incident and/or escalate to level 2 support. Monitored various job schedulers. Interacted with various technical teams and delivery to support outsourcing clients.

Performed media rotations, offsite vaulting, ticket monitoring and management, and other related functions associated with managing tape library and tape operations in both the mainframe and server environment. This also included media management within ATLs and media servers, loading and unloading drives and maintaining basic functionality for use. Performed hardware troubleshooting and reported hardware issues to support teams.

Duties encompass all aspects of special intelligence communications including the utilization of equipment. Special Intelligence communicators duties include support to: special compartment intelligence computerized network transmissions, network administration, cryptologic security, computer network defense, conducting preventive maintenance of assigned area network equipment and circuit connectivity, the transmission and receiving of special intelligence via the Defense Special Security Communications (DSSCS), and the Defense Messaging System (DMS). Communicators also maintain files, log special intelligence communications related publications and perform other operational and administrative tasks. Additionally, Marines assigned this MOS receive training in MOS related requirements including unit unique computer security systems, the operation of power supply, equipment prime mover (truck), and operator vehicle maintenance procedures.

Small Computer systems specialists ensure the proper installation, configuration, and operation of stand-alone and client- server information systems. They install, operate, and maintain microcomputer and Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) systems. They configure, optimize, administer, and troubleshoot microcomputer network hardware and operating system software using Marine Corps standard network operating software and protocols. These include TCP/IP network design and installation and TCP/IP network administration. Their responsibilities include operating system and application configuration and integration of multiple information systems in a networked environment. Small computer systems specialists support a myriad of computer and network operating systems to include. UNIX, Windows New Technology (NT), Netware (IPX), and TCP/IP. These Marines also perform operating system and applications management in support of the Defense Messaging System (DMS) and the Tactical Data Network (TDN) server.
