My work starts once third party proposal shops or contractors turn in their version of proposals to ensure that proposals are done with quality and compliance. Since most of our proposals are developed by third party proposal shops/Independent proposal writers, primarily in Reston Virginia. I frequently travel to Virginia from West Virginia to meet various folks from proposal shops/independent proposal writers and work with them. I am also responsible for maintaining a very good relationship with third party proposal contractors. Made 2 trips to India in 2019 to wind up proposal shop in India and helped firm move all the proposal work to USA resulting in huge quality improvement and eliminating a lot of headache for management as quality of proposal from India side was subpar.
