• Created a manufacturing strategy that tied Engineering, Purchasing, Machining & Production together saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in rework, purchasing, manufacturing and assembly time. • Successfully doubled the Companies overall performance per month (from $1,000,000 to $ 2,000,000) in machining thru vertical integration of Tooling, specialized fixturing and raw material procurement.• Retrofitted all Machining centers with high pressure thru spindle coolant, high speed look ahead, and a pop- up probing system that is used for broken tool detection.• Developed and supported compliant work instructions for Engineering including configuration standards for design, part revision, part maintenance.• Supported Purchasing and developed a new vendor base for machining and fabrication, best manufacturing cost and make buy decisions. • Developed a repair in the field for Service that saved the Company in excess of $500,000 for their rollers. • Reduction in Assembly time by developing stock runs and preassembled bearings and bushings. • Building and integrating a tooling management system that tracked all of our tooling.
