The Okinawan Karate Academy is opening in Cumming GA. This is a traditional Shorin Ryu karate dojo. We specialize in teaching 4-6 year olds life skills, physical development and martial arts. We also teach 7-12 year olds our traditional karate system. Teens and adults also learn our Traditional Shorin Ryu karate system. Our programs are very age appropriate. We are also certified in Sport Karate, Kickboxing and Self Defense in the Superfoot System of Grandmaster Bill "Superfoot" Wallace. Superfoot is an American pioneer of karate and kickboxing and retired undefeated as a Full Contact World Kickboxing Champion. Upon moving to Forsyth County I gave the Studio to a long time student. I will continue to pursue the martial arts and gain a deeper understanding of Shinmei Shorin Ryu of the Matsumura Seito Branch.
