The Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC was born in 2006 at Virginia Tech’s Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, VA. We wanted to bring innovation and change to the federal IT sector. We believed (and still believe today) that with shrinking federal budgets, there are huge opportunities to bring more efficiency to government through emerging technologies. During my career as a special agent I ascended through the HSI ranks (program manager, section chief, resident agent in charge, assistant special agent in charge, unit chief, and division chief) to accept the role as Chief Operating Officer of the DHS Cyber Crimes Center, providing a wide range of digital forensic, cyberintelligence, and investigative support for the Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, I governed the child exploitation investigations unit, oversee programmatic training and coordination for 7,000+ cyber-enabled and cyber-dependent criminal investigations, managed a $75M discretionary budget, and 220 direct reports, including special agent criminal investigators, technical experts, intelligence officers, Department of Defense (DoD), IT, HR and administrative support personnel, and multiple vendor contractors.
