I am a college graduate from the University of New York at Albany where I received a BA in American History. My educational accomplishments complement 10 years of considerable experience in public service, customer service, contact center operations, food service management, and event coordination. My role was that of a Senior Administrator of Appeals in the appeals department, where I helped advance the efficient work flow of appeal processing through a number of different daily and weekly tasks. My responsibilities were administrative in nature, which included but were not limited to: training incoming staff, writing drafts for potential job aids, processing appeal requests, scheduling time-sensitive appeal hearings, reviewing documents submitted as evidence for appeals, updating Excel spreadsheets for data tracking purposes, data entry, and fielding high volume inbound calls. I was also hand selected to work on special projects directed by the Department of Health.I have been described as knowledgeable, ambitious, driven, reliable, and personable.
