Support the operation of the M2 Data mart in support of Defense Health Service Systems (DHSS) Project Office. Development effort includes planning and design stages, identifying system requirements for operations and testing (technical and functional), and working with other M2 developers, testers, and functional analyst to develop new functionality. Create data processing documentation as changes occur in migration to new data feed sources to help functional staff perform their duties.Technical duties require installation and configuring new DB2 releases, upgrades and fix packs to maintain database currency. Daily efforts include monitoring production, test, and development servers for system performance, system availability, monitor disk space and take corrective actions for file space clean up in the event of disk shortages, monitor system logs and availability through monitoring software, provide backup and restore for multiple machines using TSM.
