Ron is the founder and former President of the human resources consulting firm, Meridian Resources, Inc. In this capacity, he brought to bear his extensive experience gained in over 30 years of progressively more responsible assignments in both the corporate arena and consulting field. Under Ron’s leadership, Meridian reshaped the definition of both career consulting and developmental coaching, and in so doing, set a new trend for the entire industry. He is recognized for his passionate approach to his work, and for his strong commitment to principled management and client service.As a consultant, Ron has provided coaching and career consulting advice to thousands of people across the country. He has successfully worked with numerous managers, senior managers and executives to assist them in reaching their job and career potential. Ron has developed the reputation as a skillful consultant with a natural ability to build trust and rapport while providing sound, practical advice and counsel.Ron’s corporate experience includes management and executive positions with United Technologies, Sara Lee Corporation, The Singer Company, and Masco Corporation. In his last corporate assignment, he was Group Vice President, Human Resources for a multi-billion dollar business unit consisting of 15 operating companies with over 18,000 total employees.After leaving the corporate world, Ron became a partner and shareholder in the consulting firm, Schwab Carrese Associates, Inc. During his time with SCA, the company grew to become the largest privately held human resources consulting firm in the Carolinas and Virginia, with nine offices serving many of the regions largest and best known corporate clients. Following a merger with Manchester Inc., Ron served as Executive Vice President and Southern Region Market Leader, where he developed a revolutionary new career transition system that was hailed as the industry’s first true innovation in over twenty years.
