• Responsible for the overall installation, field restoration and engineering of Broadband DSL.• Configures DSL switch, modem and router used for the installation of Broadband DSL.• Investigates the causes of circuit failure thru Engineering test procedures and performs circuit test upon request by client.• Coordinate with subscriber’s technical group for testing and restoration.• Responsible for the immediate restoration of DDS, Click & Call Service, and Supercom circuits. • Isolates the cause of circuit problems and endorses them to concerned restoration groups and other concerned entities for immediate restorations.• Coordinate with the Outside Plant Engineers / personnel regarding the availability of PT&T Cable facility nationwide.• Prepares system wire configuration and Circuit Authorization Order (CAO).• Prepares work order / costing for all types of services offered by the company.• Coordinate with the other department regarding services requirements and for proper implementation of the project• Manage project installation of DSL circuits.• Allocates NETS facilities such as channels, cable pairs, line drivers for DSL installations to support installation deliverables by the sales.• Coordinates with FMO (Fault Management Office), PIFM (Project Implementation and Field Maintenance, CANED (Cable Network Engineering Department), NEOM (Network Engineering and Operations Maintenance), PPID (Project Planning and Implementation Department) to ensure completion of all the installation of DSL circuits.• Conducts feasibility studies of all prospective DSL clients Conducts site surveys for all new installation of DSL circuits. Recommends improvement strategies to Fault Management & Operations/PIFM for DSL Faults• Give technical assistance to PIFM engineers for complex installations.• Enhance quality assurance for new installations of DSL circuits.
