With over 30 years of agribusiness experience, I am a Director of Operations at Upscale Carbon, a company that provides complete environmental solutions for landowners and investors. I am responsible for developing and implementing carbon potential assessments, biodiversity offset assessments, carbon project registration and reporting, and native title and cultural heritage engagement. I also help clients find alternative income streams from their land, such as renewable energy and improved management practices.In addition to my role at Upscale Carbon, I am also a Director of Acquisitions at Upscale Funds Management, where I manage the fund management of investable climate resilient farmland. I specialize in changing land uses of traditional agriculture to add carbon offsets, biodiversity offsets, and renewable energy. The Carbon Farmland Fund and the Koala Farmland Fund are positive for the environment and investors with secure returns. I have extensive experience in leading rural negotiation delegations to business and government, through China and South America, and have spoken on agricultural business startup at the Yangling Hi-Tech Agricultural Fair in China. I am a Nuffield Scholar and have published a paper on the implications of increasing Brazilian beef production to Australia. I am passionate about creating sustainable and profitable solutions for land and business, while contributing to the preservation and enhancement of natural resources and ecosystems.
