Responsible for the oversight of multiple teams engaged in the operational portfolio management of commercial real estate portfolios (both performing and non performing) for multiple clients (Banks, non-Bank Lenders, & Private Equity) across the UK consisting of RMBS, CRE, Bridging & Mezz loans, Development loans with extensive regulated experience included. Lead DD and underwriting projects as part of wider advisory mandates to buy side clients across Pan-European jurisdictions and on-boarding projects for Pan-European clients. Ensured that portfolios service was provided in accordance with, and in excess of, the levels specified in the SLA, company procedures and current legislation depending on jurisdiction. Responsible for the drafting of servicing manuals, policies and procedures. Managed the change process with clients and liaise internally with developers to get solutions in place. Monitor all ad-hoc, daily/weekly/monthly reporting requests of the clients accurately and provide within the requested timeframe, and ensure all internal MI is accurate.Motivate the teams to successfully meet and exceed all of the clients expectations and ensure that resource is allocated correctly to all on-going projects, and personally involved with obtaining new business and the project plans for implementing these new opportunities into the business.

Working as part of a team within Wholesale, my main responsibility is the day to day management of a demanding portfolio in order to deliver and support effective risk mitigation strategies which will lead to reduced impairments and meet the agreed targets and milestones as part of our Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with our clients. Other responsibilities of the role are; • To ensure that portfolios are maintained and managed on a day to day basis in order to ensure that delivery of cost effective customer strategies is achieved.• Monitoring and review challenging cases to strike an acceptable balance between risk and reward • Ensure compliance with regulatory policy taking action where necessary in order to minimise risk. • Manage and strategise for each borrowers connection.• Update Certus’ databases and accounting systems in order that risks are monitored and controlled on a daily basis. • Monitor portfolio performance, objectives and targets, resolving variances and reporting them in order to enable corrective action to be taken. • Tracking the portfolio's progress to generate MI for the team.

• Working with customers from AIB, EBS Building Society, and Haven Mortgages. Part of a team of five staff managing a large portfolio of customers. • Aim is to arrange viable solutions that work best for both the Bank and the customer. The team is currently managing 1500 active accounts, mostly in arrears. Continuous communication with customers and third party service providers required. • Solutions reached to date include asset disposal, restructuring of terms and payments, downsizing, write offs, or a combination of these.• Structuring of loan documentation to reflect the solutions reached. • All duties undertaken are in compliance with the Code of Conduct for Mortgage Arrears and this involves completing all due diligence and compliance functions necessary; mainly Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering. • Credit documentation must be in order and maintained to the highest standards• Any ad-hoc duties that benefit the team are undertaken. • Monthly target of 12 restructures per month, which I have exceeded every month since starting the role.

• Worked directly with relationship manager managing a portfolio of circa 30 clients covering a broad range of industries.• Daily monitoring of client accounts and organizing and conducting customer meetings as I was main point of contact for the portfolio. • Compiled monthly and quarterly portfolio monitoring reports.• Main responsibility was assessing client proposals and requests by analyzing their financial capabilities, risks, needs, and recommending the most suitable product/restructure for each individual client/company, this involved maintaining excellent channels of communication with numerous areas of the Bank and third parties to get the best possible outcome for all parties. • Processed internal credit ratings to help in decision making and altered these ratings if appropriate. • Reviewed client credit proposals and presented these proposals to Credit Committees for approval. This involved detailed negotiations with Senior Lending Managers, and then communicating the decisions with clients and producing the loan documentation to match the decision the Bank reached.• Each proposal required in depth financial analysis and projections from financial accounts. Part of this analysis involved reviewing business operations, establishing KPIs and advising customers how they could improve these to be more cost efficient. • There is a large focus on restructuring the facilities of customers in distress so a large part of the work was reviewing distressed cases, assessing level of impairments and provisions and then providing strategic advice on general restructuring. All customer securities had to be up to date and in order on the Banks systems – this involved assessment and valuations.• All of the above tasks had to meet timelines and be managed under the ever evolving credit framework, guidelines and policies from AIB and the Central Bank of Ireland.
