I joined City Food Equipment part time refinishing refurbished restaurant equipment like mixers. After a while I moved to doing sales. I sold food service equipment. I sold $1 million dollars in my first 13 months with no previous experience in food service equipment. I was able to benefit from my real estate sales training and I found new avenues to gain sales, such as finding a website that talked about new restaurants opening. Seeking out the owners of the new restaurants and offering my services for equipment.

I decided to try something new in between body shop jobs. I obtained my real estate license on the first try. I received lots of great sales training here. I was able to do lots of rentals. I sold one house and obtained one listing. It was a unique life experience but at the stage of life I was at it did not make sense to continue.
