Full-Stack Developer
A part of the Web Development team, my duties were to handle change requests to Total Control, DAL, UR Max, IT Asset Management, Password Reset, and Service Center applications. These applications are internal and external with a global viewership. These changes were achieved through iterative updates to their respective codebases using Vue.js, PHP, and SQL. As a remote developer I communicated with management weekly, and directly with Business Analysts per project to estimate schedules, set expectations, and achieve ends for product owners. Each update was verified with peer code review.
Iot Software Engineer
Aided in the deployment of the SenseMe Network. An IoT connectivity system connecting lighting and climate devices to homes and owners via microservices. I was tasked with swapping the Authentication system out from OAuth to AWS Cognito.
Lamp Stack Developer
I built a reporting portal using VUE.js and PHP for comparing and analyzing a set of 6 different cost and revenue streams. With this information aggregate we were finally able to evaluate costs and returns per ad campaign in minutes as opposed to hours of analyst work. The site is based from AWS RDS, using a Laravel framework to handle data calls, and VUE.js for visual representation of the data. I wrote RESTful APIs, and scripted scheduled collection jobs to retrieve data via API as collection means. One of the data streams had webhooks available which allowed us to increase that sample rate to real-time.Designed tables and optimized indexes, migrated data from MySQL to MSSQL. Explored historic database schemas and derived which tables and which criteria applied to the situation by analyzing existing code for parallel reporting sites.
Sr Developer
I redeveloped our Reporting infrastructure with the goal of enhancing our performance and scalability. We added hardware and split the application calls between database instances. Also included were some UI enhancements to boost the user experience.Scripting scheduled reports, ad-hoc reports as needed, and designing tools to help error check imported information.Designed, built, and supported a report which collects validation results from multiple points of failure to provide a clear picture to Management and Support regarding contracts’ billing status. This was met with such success as to be made available to our customers to monitor on their own.Provided deep technical training and support to customers' development / transition teams via on-site visitation, webinars, and text chat.
Application Developer
Developed applications against the 6NF Database design of MAPICS. Developed departmental sites for document sharing or transactional applications. Created reports from Oracle, or Access databases as needed from our ERP, or our HR system Kronos. Built applications to solve problems and save money from across the company in every department including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, HR, Business Analysis, Shipping, IT. While most applications relied on the existing ERP architecture, there was plenty of opportunity to develop my own Oracle structures for self-standing applications. Applications of note that I created would include a 2D Barcode generator, a Labor hours earned vs labor hours paid report, an Auditing application for SOX compliance, a document repository system, a task-tracking application for building/factory maintenance, and an Executive Dashboard report which was used until 2008-2016 when we migrated to a different ERP.Aside from application development, my time was spent solving other problems as well. I became knowledgeable with Prophix, Kronos, PayBase, UPS WorldShip, Barcode scanners, and Windows OS in general. Integrating other applications or using my skill set to streamline processes which other people have to struggle with.

Member of an esteemed team of developers and engineers. We consolidated numerous intranet and internet sites as our company mergered with 65 others along its rapid growth. Building one of the fastest and conclusive corporate intranet sites of the time.We were tasked to take the tools that were useful, fold in the bits that were redundant, and develop methodologies for the multitude of departments to make the most of this shared Intranet resource. We used a dev/test/production environment model with geographically load balanced production servers for Database and Web page services.I converted diverse websites to fit into our model using scripts and elbow grease. Using PERL as a back end tool as well as a CGI language, I wrote or expanded applications from other environments such as Cold Fusion, ASP, or JSP. Photoshop to make adjustments to images to fit our header/footer templates. We tapped Netscape for their LDAP v3 database tech for speed sensitive data inquiries such as authentication & employee heirchay. I developed and modified applications which read and/or modified this repository; as well as an Oracle database we used for more data-heavy applications.
